Our aim at the NHS South of Tyne and Wear is to provide information about the Alcohol Treatment Services available in the area. We can offer support to anyone with an interest or concern about alcohol, whether it is someone who thinks they may have an issue with the amount of alcohol they are drinking and needs to find out how to get help and support, or family and friends of someone who has an uncontrolled relationship with alcohol and wants to find out more information, what to do and where to go.

Our local, service support workers are friendly, trained and experienced experts who provide personal and confidential advice along with range of treatment options to best suit the needs of people who want to take control of their drinking habits. By cutting down on alcohol, you can make a difference to your life.
